Children’s Right to Housing and Social Security

The aim of the right to social security at least at the minimum level is to provide for, as far as possible, a dignified existence. Every child has the right to good living conditions and a favourable social environment that ensures their physical and intellectual development. Every child must receive adequate nutrition, clothing and shelter. A child who does not receive sufficient parental care has the right to State and municipal social assistance and social services. Families with children receive various benefits from the State, including family state benefits.
